Just purchased the air porch to give us more space. While I love the extra space it provides, I am disappointed with the front of the porch and the fact that there are no loops to peg it down so it just flaps merrily in the breeze. Is this a problem for anyone else?

This is the reason I’m here. Just had a week away with an air 8 and porch and the porch fit is so bad I’m looking for a different tent.

We have the Air Porch and have had no problems with it flapping in the wind and we always seem to get a storm when we camp!

Below, if it works, is a photo of the porch that survived three hours of torrential rain and high winds in Wales early last summer. Once we had confined ourselves to a few hours in the tent during the storm the door was pegged down using the bungies that go over the tent poles that hold the door up into its canopy position.

I don’t have any photos of the Porch door close up, we’re not camping next until the 21st of this month so I can’t show you our method of pegging the door down.

On a side note, the only criticism I have of the Porch is opposite to the door, there are only two webbing tethers on the overthrow, the wind whips up under this and it billows quite a bit, a centre tether I feel would solve this.
