Hi
Has anyone else had a problem with the Vango Air Beam Inner Tubes that have deflated because the glue has come loose around the valve and caused the air to come out? We just had this problem with the beam for our bedroom after our first night of camping for a week. I know of someone else who also suffered the same problem with the same beam and we are thinking this could be a design fault as maybe the glue isnt fit for purpose.

We got a Vango Edoras 600 last year and used it for 14 nights in France, all was ok until the tube in the bedrooms deflated on the last day, didn’t realise until it was too dark to change it so just re-inflated it and it just about lasted until morning. Going again in six weeks and still not got around to changing it but have got 4 spare tubes. When I change it I will be interested to see where it has failed as it was a very slow deflation.
We did re-inflate ours but it deflated within an hour. We had to sleep with the back of the tent attached to a wooden picnic table for the rest of the week so that we could keep it off us to be able to sleep in the tent. I would suggest you get it changed and would be interested to know if it was a puncture, ours wasn't!! you're lucky to have spare tubes we haven't and can't seem to locate any to replace yet!
We have the Vango Inspire 500 (not made anymore ) The trouble is they have re-positioned the valves after 2014 and they're higher up now. Ours is nearly down at the floor of the tent.
I would try a beam thats the same width and fold over both ends, that would bring the valve closer to the floor as I said, as long as the width is correct it should work fine
Ignore that, just realised where you said your valves are!!!
We purchased a kela airbeam awning in 2014. Used it about 4 times for maybe maximum of 3/4 nights. Recently we inflated & the valve came away from the plastic bladder, similar to how you described. I see the more recent bladders have a different valve which was in the models after 2014. Was this a design fault by vango or just bad luck for us. I have found a replacement, but rather costly at £35 & delivery.

Hi,
We have a Icarus 500 and this weekend had the valves go on two tubes - one had a leak, and the other just blew out when I inflated it.
What was the outcome of your enquiries? Is it just buy a new one as Vango so helpfully say, or is there a glue that will stick it back in?
Thanks
Hi, we have a 500 too & 4 valves leaked, to varying degrees on the 1st night of a months trip to France. Annoyingly I had tested the tent a couple of weeks before as it hadn't been used much over the last 2 - 3 years (though it had been inflated at least once a year for a few days).
Ours too seemed to be the glue which had failed. Have you had any explanation or a successful repair? I've been procrastinating re whether it's worth buying 4 new bladders but am getting itchy feet again.
