Hello!

I'm new to the site and was just after some adivice

I have just acquired a classic Vango Force 10. It's some years old but in good condition. I used to camp in these when I was a lot younger and looking forward to taking this one out into the wild.

I'm just after some advise on caring for the canvas fly, specifically reproofing if needed (I have yet to get it up to do a hose test)

Less is more with canvas.
Light brushing and water to clean if you really that fussed by a bit of dirt.

Don't rush into reproofing. On first wetting it may leak if the fibres have shrunk in storage. Let it dry out then repeat, it may then be watertight.

If it does need a reproof then something like Storm (silicone free) is recommended by the chap I got our pyramid from.
