Hi I am a new member . I just wondered if anyone in this group has one , or has had one of the tents mentioned above . I am curious as to its possible age and original cost . I bought one of the above tents a few months ago second hand . It is a 2 man , fly first , dome tent with an abstract pattern of flowers and leaves and 3 shades of green and little splashes of yellow .The bag it comes in matches the tent . I can't find any reference anywhere about this model and I have made quite exhaustive enquiries . One person told me it must be at least 16 years old because that was how long she had worked in the camping shop, and she had never heard of one !! There should be a rain cowl on the top with 3 clips to attach to the poles where they cross over ( according to the instructions ) but alas that is missing . Why 3 clips ? If anyone could help , I would be very gratefull . PS I am 74 !! Many thanks. PS I don't have any photos yet .

With great respect , I clearly state twice in my article ,that my tent is a 2 man Dome tent . So how can you think that a 10 man tepee is relevant to my enquiry ? As for the roof obviously a tepee does not have external , cross over poles at the top , because it does not have a dome .
It will have been thirty quid or thereabouts. It's one of Millets basic tents with a snazzy finish for the festival market. The reason for three clips on the cowl is that the other corner was tied on so that you wouldn't lose the cowl if you opened it up for added ventilation.
No idea about age, sorry.

If you Google Eurohike Edition 05 Festival tent you will see that there was quite a craze for patterned tents around the time. Kath Kidstone designs etc.
The tent style is now the Eurohike Tamar, I think.
