Hi, I'm a new member here and new to camping. Bought a 6xl berghaus tent and porch months ago but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Would anyone know the minimum size of pitch I need to book with/without porch, thanks.

Hi and welcome.
I am not familiar with this tent, but don't you have the dimensions?
Then if it uses guy lines, an allowance maybe to double up.....?????
Trusting the dimensions above (I have no reason not to, but not familiar with the tent, and haven't checked).
Always allow, as an absolute minimum (in my opinion), 1m all round for guylines, so +2m to the overall length, and +2m to the overall width.
Therefore:
Tent alone (6 x 4.5) = minimum of 8m x 6.5m pitch space to guy out.
Tent + Porch (6 x 7.1 overall) = minimum 8m x 9.1m pitch space to guy out.
Anything less, and you run the risk of it not being adequately guyed out if the winds pick up (they should go out "as far as is reasonably possible").
I prefer to add 3 m each way (so 1.5m for each guyline), but the above isn't too detrimental.
...And remember...
When looking at pitch dimensions, don't forget to allow space for the car, trailer, Roof box (removed to allow access to car parks), kids bikes (riding around), adult bikes (parked), outside table & chairs (dining), Camping chairs (lounging) Boules pitch, Swing Ball, Sunbathing area, Gazebo (Shady area for when it's too hot in the sunbathing area!) washing line, Satellite dish, Windbreaked area to keep the dog quiet...
