I've been searching the whole internet for reviews on this tent. Anyone know anything about it (is it new?). Anyone got one? I've been to see one and it looks great! However I thought I'd check with the guru's on here to see if anyone had any hands on experience.

There is some snobbery with some people about the cheaper tents but I think they are perfect for starting out. We had a higear kalahari 8 for years and its still our garden tent. Go to g o and see it up, only then will you really get an idea how you would use the space, rather than how someone else would.

I've read other posts on here and snobbery has been mentioned. I don't quite get it. What's the deal?
It's not like this tent is cheap but I agree I could spend more on one. However the tent, footprint, optional side porch and carpet comes to £800. To me that's not cheap. From what I've seen on the other similar spec expensive tents...... The difference isn't really worth the extra money. At the end of the day we are all in the same boat (enjoying the great outdoors).

I agree, we've just got the Hi-Gear Hampton 6 Nightfall and its a great tent, has all the space we need, plenty of room for storage.
Cant wait to get back out there and start arguing with the wife again whilst pitching the tent lol.

I too have been searching and had no joy. We are expecting ours to arrive in a week or so and have a couple of short trips bokked up for end of August. I did find one other post on here regarding the tent but it too had no input from anyone with this tent which surprises me as its sold out everywhere.

Hopefully between the 3 of us we will be in a position to write something about it.

If you find any useful information about the tent please do link it and I will do the sound.
