Morning,

Our 10 year old Vango Tigris 800 bit the dust last night in high winds so I'm looking for ideas for a new family tent as I really can't decide!

We have another week camping but luckily the campsite we're on have loaned us a tent so we have somewhere to sleep tonight!

New! Please upload a photo of your tent to the Tent Showcase!

For how many?
Canvas? Polycotton? Plastic?
Poles? Airbeam?
Cost?

I've always favoured bell tents, for their innate simplicity and strength and followed by Dutch pyramid tents, but then I prefer cotton/canvas/polycotton?

Either should last a lifetime?

Loving your enthusiasm for getting straight back in the saddle after a night in a tent wrecking gale

Are you after another vis-a-vis layout like the Tigris, or more tunnel?

Budget?

The Tigris is 8 berth so something similar in size & style.

Not sure what to go for regarding poles or air, only 1 section of pole spilt last night which I'm surprised at given the mess. It looks like most of the pegs were ripped out of the ground which caused the failure.

Don't have a budget but under £1k!
