Hi, I almost purchased a Berghaus a few days back and then decided on the Coleman Weathermaster 8 before finally deciding on the Outdoor revolution Airedale 7.0SE for a few reasons, does anyone have any advice on this model, or is there anything I should know before buying Thanks

Hi, you have probably made your purchase already but we purchased the Airedale 7SE and used it for the first time in March.
It is a brilliant family tent. We have never camped before so it did take a good few hours to get everything set up!!!
We’re setting off again this Friday and am confident we can have the tent pitched within about 30 mins.

There were several reasons for choosing this model…
Height - my husband is 6ft 5ins and not enthusiastic about camping (lol) so I wanted to make things as comfortable as possible. He is able to stand and walk around in this one without stooping.
Flexible space - we have 2 boys & purchased the extra bedroom lining for the side annex. One child sleeps in the side annex, the other in one of the main sleep pods and we have an extra large bedroom made up from the middle and remaining side sleep pod.
The ‘living space’ is ample for chairs and a table - we have the rug & it definitely makes the space more home from home.
Excellent flexibility with side door, zip up curtains, fly screens etc.
Porch area is spacious - we used it as a wet area and camp kitchen.

It is surprisingly easy to pack away, just make sure to squeeze out as much air as possible as you fold and roll.

Not so easy to lift and shift the packed tent!!! The bag is huge and very heavy - the bag could do with extra grab handles on each end.
We have a dedicated trailer for camping which carries the tent & other bits. There is no way we’d get all our stuff in the boot (Mitsubishi Shogun) so bear that in mind also.

So far I can’t fault the Airedale 🙂
