Hi everyone I am new to the forum,
I was hoping for some tips, I have been given an Outwell wolf lake 7 by a relative. It is the older model with the horizontal side poles and isn't suitable for the awning conversion kit, probably bought around 2009ish.
The tent is huge from what I am used to and has come with carpet as well. However it doesn't have a groundsheet to protect the base of the tent. My questions are this:
1. Is there any particular groundsheet for another tent that you might recommend to cover the same footprint as the wolf lake? Or am I better off just buying a tarp and folding it?
2. Some of the bedroom hooks have come off that are on the ceiling, shall I just sew them back or would there be a smarter method to repair them you might suggest?
3. The horizontal side poles that run along the back of the tent have been replaced with various quick fixes with tape and odd poles, I assume that this shouldn't be a real problem. However, are poles of this nature likely to be replaceable?
4. Any other tips about this tent more experience campers might recommend? We got it up easily enough following the Outwell video!
Thanks in advance hopefully these questions aren't too stupid.
