Hello there,

I'm looking at doing my first bike backing trip solo in the UK. I'm very new to camping and would appreciate any help on tents suitable for bike packing, needs to be relatively light, fit into bike packing cycle bags and be comfortable for at least one person and to house bags etc.

Feeling a bit lost with all the range of options, would be grateful for you advice

In terms of budget, I don't mind paying extra for something that is a better long term investment, although at this stage not sure this is wise as I have not done this before - I'd be happy for something around £200-400 mark but happy to be guided

I'm not going to be venturing in extreme weather, mainly spring, summer stuff, although I do feel the cold. Likely to be campsites to begin with

Needs to be something that can travel well with bike bags and easy and light to carry, although if a bit extra weight is better for durability then so be it

Aldi ,Lidl and Go Outdoors
All usually sell good Cycle Panniers
Also
I assume your looking at One Man tent
Around a Kilo in weight .
As Two Man tents usually are around
2 Kg .
But more room
Let me know and I can give you all the Info
On Bikepacking and camping out .
