afternoon all, like 99% of all members to a new forum i'm after help and advice please.
we do a lot of classic car shows and recently started camping at them again, i have a disabled son which is why we stopped camping, well we dug the old tent out and tried it, but it was a huge struggle as the tent wasn't tall enough to stand up in and dress him.
we found a Khyam Ridgi-dome XL on the internet that wasn't over the top in price, it's tall enough that we can see to our son without difficulty, the seller garunteed that it was 100% perfect, it's been up in the loft far about five years as they bought a caravan.
i should have guessed there would be problems, first off, to disk on the top that the four little poles go into, one of the poles was twisted out of it, not too much of a problem take the back off and refit it, iv'e watched loads and loads of videos on how easy it is to put up..... nope, keeps colapsing inwards on the top disk, once we did get it up it doesn't stand straight (fingers crossed i can work out how to upload pictures.
also i have noticed that 7 out of the 8 knuckle joints have given way and the springs are showing, can this be repaired or do you have to replace the whole joint at £12.00 per knuckle?
anyway, heres hopeing you can point me in the right direction.
thanks Tony
