Hi all! We had our first outing using our new vango experience side awning with our Vango Stargrove 450 poled tent at the beginning of June. It was pretty good, certainly gave us much more space. Unlike the tent though the awning doesn't have a SIG. I like the SIG on the tent for it's beastie controlling properties as well as it being cosier and dog escape proof. Is there any way I can attach the Groundsheet to the sides of the awning to 'seal it' the way the tent is? Going to Mull on 16th for a couple of weeks and would like to have it done before then...any advice appreciated! Sx

Your awning is for bikes, muddy shoes, mucky things that are a nuisance cleaning off a groundsheet, plus - maybe for cooking & for sitting out when it’s raining… though not on Mull in July because very light rain (a smirr) brings out the midges at this time of year.
Yes we use it as a kitchen and for general storage, but the dog can escape from under it, so need something to stop that and also bugs etc getting in to the main body of the tent, so looking for ideas to add flaps that can go under the groundsheet. We have a built in porch for sitting in when it's raining.
