Hello..
I have a great Flowerville 4 tent...easy for me to pitch {Im retired } but last outing have LOST both fibreglass poles which cross over dome {I still have porch poles}. Tent no longer made, {bought in Germany} Manufacturer cannot give me specifications of poles.... I have been told by one camping shop it is impossible to replace...as it has a slight angle bend towards roof and so specialised.
Surely it CANNOT mean I have to throw away tent ?
The tent is 270cm x 270cm x 190cm ...{image etc on Google}
Does anyone know of calculation for width of pole /lengths required?
Or replacement 'set' for similar tent?
I would be very grateful...Thank you
------------- Happy camping !
Carol

tent repair services im sure would be able to replace these, from looking t it on google i wouldnt have thought it that hard to make the correct length for the roof poles
Thank you marg6.....I did ask one supplier of poles but they said custom set cost would be more than the tent...but I will persevere now and ask a few more suppliers.
kind regards Carol
dont be daft! the poles dont cost that much at all, go outdoors sell them, often camping dealers have a bin of poles from ex display tents. you just need to figure out the size you need and the length, you may have to buy big and then cut down to size

Looks from pics as though you just need some regular ?12mm pole sections and to search eBay for “angled ferrule”, I’m guessing at 20 degrees, then put it all together.
