Hi Guys,

I'm from Italy, i would like to buy a bell Tent but I'm undecided between this two models:

https://www.canvascamp.com/it/sibley-450-protech;

https://www.robens.de/en-gb/shop/outdoor-tents/poled-tents/klondike-grande;

I'm using it in summer. In Italy usually the temperature is between 27-35 degrees. Its very warm especialy in August.
So I would like to buy a cotton or polycotton tent.
The polycotton is too much light then cotton but I think that the cotton is more breathable than polycotton.
What do you think about it?

Thanks Massimo.

Canvas camp....wind the walls up. Certainly if the cotton canvas range.
Robens make some excellent tents but the Klondike wasn't one of their better ones according to many reviews , sometimes leaking around the door/groundsheet. Also they have recently changed their weave; the polycotton (as opposed to cotton canvas of the Canvas camp tents (but the protech I am not familiar)), is now predominantly polyester at 65% with 35% cotton. It was the other was around which is what I would choose, but others may differ.........

A good cotton or cotton canvas or polycotton will be excellent, the design of the tent being more significant on breathability.
Most of which as cotton or a good polycotton will be cooler than some more plasticky (polyester) tents.....as a generalisation.
