Has anyone had any issues with this tent?
I just bought one new from decathlon and the reason for the buy is below

I had a dlx avon 3 £260 from blacks on sale at £80 used about 4 times the zip pull snapped and the bottom has already come away from the side in a small area. I used it for my first rallies and quickly learnt that crawling into tents and changing laying down is not for me. I don't like being hot and would awake at sunrise and melt from the sun. If i wore a eye mask i would still bake. They did a new nightfall version but would not sell me just the room. weight was 5kg bag was 65cm by 29cm

Enter the arpenaz 4.1
went to a rally with a mate he had this tent. we could walk in and seat 4 easy in the main area when he packed it up at the end i saw the size and was shocked it didnt look bigger packed than mine. 9kg 65cm x 34cm

I looked around for blackout tents anything similar size to to arpenaz was heavier and alot more money from other brands. I wanted a tent i could buy spares for just in case i considered used but if there was a issue i have lost the money. Halfords do a copy tent or £170 its blackout with a attached bucket ground sheet but no blackout room and the bedroom is split and they dont sell poles for it. at £115 on sale it wasnt worth it.

So i Went into surrey quays decathlon today and tried the air version sitting in the lit store with the door closed it is very dark which is awesome. also saw online the bedroom has a opening so you can reach out and pull the back of the tent up allowing a nice airflow to the bedroom. Although i forgot to check I think the pole sleeves are a lot looser and use clips halfway down. Most of my setup time on a regular dome is trying to get the poles through the tent these slide straight through.
The rally is this weekend going with 3 girls. Because of the size and blackout room probably all sleeping in mine. fast setup and being able to sleep late after drinking or take naps means this will be worth every penny

-------------
Roll on the next motorbike rally
