I’m looking for a carpet to for the ‘bedroom’ section of the Berghaus Air 8.1 tent. I see they do a carpet, but this appears to be for the middle main section. Any recommendations greatly received

Your best bet is to measure the bedroom, if not known, then research a tent with similar living area dimensions which comes with a tent carpet option. Voila.
Start with tents of similar berth - you may be lucky and find a perfect fit or something that is near enough.
Otherwise, do what most do and use picnic blankets.

In my tent bedroom (rated as a 3 berth, but comfy for 2 with a bit of luggage space) I use those interlocking (jigsaw) foam tiles. Nice and soft underfoot, GOOD insulation under the airbed, and you use as many or few as it takes to cover your floor area so flexible in size, can even cut to size to get perfect fit. Perhaps the downside is they are bulkier to transport than a similar sized carpet, but I have the car space so not a problem for me. Probably cheaper than a proper tent carpet too.
In the tent living area, I've got a proper matched tent carpet, which does undoubtedly raise the comfort level and I suspect provide a little insulation from ground chill (but not as good as the foam tiles).

Whatever you do don’t buy an Outwell one. We have an Outwell Parkdale 4 Air and it came with a free carpet - extremely thin and very slippery. We bought two Eurohike carpets which are far superior and lovely to walk on, just turned them under to fit. Getting another to cut down for front part for next year.

I use a couple of Outwell Inlayzzz in my tent. If I`ve looked at the correct Berghaus Air 8, the bedroom compartment dimensions are 280cm x 210cm. They do one measuring 140cm x 200cm so you`d need two for full coverage of one bedroom. Point taken regarding recent Outwell carpets, quality not what they were but these are much better and cheaper too. Here`s a link. https://www.outdooraction.co.uk/outwell-inlayzzz-140x200-carpet-p36
Here`s a photo of my bedroom area.
I use a foil backed picnic blanket. It has a thin foam mid layer adding to comfort and insulation. Probably not hard wearing enough for living area but great for the bedroom.
Various sizes on amazon.
