Hi folks, looking for a decent spray to do our two eurohike carpets with to protect them (e.g. Scotchguard type thing). We can brush off all the mud etc but want to spray them before putting them away for the winter. Any recommendations?

i always thought the idea of the carpet was that you can wash them using a hosepipe at home, far easier than having to put the tent up and wash that out. never heard of anything that you would use to "protect" them
We use a vax carpet cleaner on our MH carpets (taken indoors to a vinyl floor or tiles) after deep vacuuming, as it’s the grease etc that dirt sticks onto. And they smell fresh too.
Like marg6, I’ve not seen spray on proofing for carpets, but never say never.

Fiona the OPs carpets arent really "carpet" its just a fleece blanket with a bit of tarp backing on them, no way would they cope with the likes of your vax on it, they would just get tangled up
