Hi all,
We,ve just returned from a camping trip in France where unfortunately we were pitched under mediteranean pines that have dripped resin across the top of our polycotton tent. I've tried using rubbing alcohol to remove it but this only appears to remove the surface resin and if anything makes it look worse.
Has anyone had this problem themselves and if so did you manage to successfully clean it off ? If so I'd be very grateful for your advice.
Thanks in advance.

I have always left it to dry then brushed or scraped it off.
Using alcohol or other solvents would probably result in the resin soaking into the tent material.
