We have a Sahara Vis a Vis and a Sahara 4/5.  They are fantastic tents especially as they can be erected fly or inner first.  We've just returned from a very wet week in Exmoor and were really comfortable in our 4/5.

If there are only two of you, the Vis a Vis is great for colder weather because one of the bedrooms can be used as an extension to the living area.  Put your chairs in there and you can be really cosy.

Thanks for the advice SteveE. I have got it sorted now!

This is the first time I have put a tunnel tent up and found it a bit of a strugle.  When putting the tent up. should you lay out the inner tent and then attach the frame to the corners first?  I found it very difficult to lean over and attach the top of the inner tent to the ridge pole.

I am sure that I am missing something, it took much longer than the 1/2 hour other people mentioned to put it up.

Anyway, off the Wales to try it out tomorrow!

When attaching the two middle clips to the top of the frame, unzip the inner tent doors - this will give you an extra yard to get closer to the clip.

Enjoy Wales today, we've got some great weather for this week!

Hi Anne,

Can I ask you what make your kitchen tent is and how much it cost?

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve

It's a Sunncamp and cost something like £80 last year.  I think you might get it cheaper if you shop around.
