We are currently away for the first time. We pitched it up in the wind and managed it all ok. But the back seems really baggy and we can’t seem to get it right at all.
Also, the wind has really picked up today and we have notice the vent at the top, at the back is quite large and open and letting a lot of wind tin. Is this normal??

Hard to tell without a picture or two. The back being 'baggy' sounds as if you need to tweak the pegging. Is your pitch level?
The vent should have a flap over it which is pegged out to let air in and keep rain out. If it's windy it will be draughty but better than the tent being full of condensation.
Thank you, I will try and take some photos later. I think there are a few tweaks we can do. I’m not sure but I think we have somehow got the beams stretched out abit much as we can’t do the bedrooms up and there doesn’t seem to be much depth to peg down properly.
Never absolutely foolproof, as the wind does change direction, but an experienced camper takes heed of prevailing winds and orientates the tent accordingly whenever they have the option, which can help.
A lot of 'bagginess/flapping' on tents is dealt with by 'finessing' guy rope position and tension. Exactly where the pegs need to go to best advantage is often dictated by how 'warped' the tent is by the lie of the land, and the 'mirrored' peg on opposite side of tent may be in a significantly different position.
Some tents have flaps to close vents, others not. With inner bedrooms, drafts through vents should not be a real problem as you are isolated from them. As said above, ventilation is no bad thing, it keeps condensation down, a slightly drafty tent is FAR preferable to one dripping in condensation! It's noticeable, that the better quality/design a tent is, the better the ventilation is! - basic/cheap tents often have totally insufficient ventilation and it's not good!

Thank you. We were stuck with positioning as were told which way it had to be, but will definitely keep note in the future.
I took some photos of the back of the tent before we took it down. I managed to adjust the pegs straps which changed it slightly. But its mainly the corners.
Its only the second time we have put it up (once in the father in laws garden for a few days but didnt stay in it - was just testing it)
I did notice once we took pegs out that the beams relaxed abit so think I had done the guy ropes on the side too tight.
I think its trial and error and well get used to it in time.
I have hopefully attached photos of the back of the tent.
Hi, I definitely think you have the guys too tight. We have an older version of this tent and it looks best to keep everything relaxed bar the storm ropes. This helps the look and the light flapping helps to keep the tent dry. Enjoy it.
