I bought a tent from an online site November last year, who’ve subsequently gone out of business. Me and the wife went camping the other week to test out our new tent only to find the tent was missing the internal bedrooms. The tent model is an outdoor revolution camp star 600, but the older model not the new one. I spoke to Outdoor Revolution, who were helpful but don’t stock the bedroom any more as it’s an older model. I’ve got a camping trip booked next week with my teenage kids, so need the bedrooms. At this point I’m considering buying a new tent and dealing with this mess later down the line but would really rather just find a bedroom! I’m posting here on the small chance that someone has the part to sell and can post it out over the next cooler of days. Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards,
A desperate father

Frustrating. I’m trying to think of a temporary workaround so you can make time to find the bedrooms for the tent later, after you’ve gone away. Separate bedrooms are relatively new (my parents, sister & I went camping in the 70s in a single skin canvas tent, no internal rooms, just needed awareness of respecting privacy). Hang lightweight curtains from the tent poles? Adapt a cheap windbreak to create screens?
Unfortunately, I expect you’ll have to get another tent eventually unless there’s someone out there who’s damaged their outer tent & now has the bedrooms to sell.
Hi all, thanks for your advice. We’ve had a good look online but haven’t managed to find anything. Outdoor Revolution have suggested having a bedroom made up, which I think we’ll do in the long term. We’re going to use a couple of small tents inside the big tent for the kids bedrooms and hang some blankets to make a bit of a screen for the time being.
