There are many many threads about this topic already, if you search the forum, especially covering things like safety (non flammable floor, CO alarm etc, disposing of warm ashes safely next day etc)
We have wood stoves at home & the short answer is yes, they’ll keep you warm. But wood is a bulky fuel & you’ll need to buy it from supermarkets etc, not cut live wood or take deadwood. And I’ve been on a site where the smoke didn’t rise from a tent flue & it was like being near a bonfire, not pleasant.
It will keep you warm if you are in a proper tent designed for a woodburner and the woodburner is designed for the tent, is installed correctly and safely,
.
You need access to plenty of dry wood fuel and accept it will need to be fed into the fire all night if you wish to remain warm.
