edited to say that we bought a new tent today! A Vango Venture 600 DLX - we both fell in love with it, it's a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures I've seen - only £60 :D)

Hi Lisa+Lee

afraid i'm not dastube, but saw the thread and thought this might help.

Sorry no info on the HH of the Nevada, but we do have the Outwell Colorado 5 which is one of clones of the nevada.

We use ours just for two adults (and one dog). The outwell has a three man and a two man bedroom, (I think the Nevada has 2 x 2 1/2 man bedrooms), but the three person bedroom is just about big enough for two adults. So sleeping arangements might be a wee bit cosy depending on how old the three little'uns are.

Having said that, the living area is pretty big. You could probably get seats for all of you inside if (when?) it rains.

Ah thanks for that!

I was hoping that the bedrooms might be a 3 man and a 2 man set up, hoping that the kids could go in the 3 man bit as they currently share the 3 man section in our dome tent. The kids are 7, 4 and 2.

As I said above, we want more living space at the moment (as long as we all still get a bed)and I like the fact that it looks airy. Unfortunately, the nevada is more in our price range at the moment, cant afford anything above £100 at the moment - at the most!

I know you said your maximum budget is £100, but what about £125? I've just been looking around and wildday have the Vango Gamma 650 for this price (I havent price checked, might be cheaper elsewhere) and it looks like maybe what your after?

Edit to add: Here for £119 http://www.summits.co.uk/acatalog/copy_of_copy_of_Gamma_650_.html

Or the Gelert Cadiz for £110? http://www.singersoutdoors.co.uk/pages/8tents.htm

Just found the info on the bedrooms in the nevada. apparently It is actually one bedroom with a dividing curtain.

Do a search on Nevada in the tent talk, there has been quite a discusion on this one, and people seem to either love or loath 'em.

Hi Lisa + Lee

We have a Nevade 5 person frame tent from Argos, and we love it. We picked one up in the sales for a bargin price of £79.99. The HH of the tent is 2000, the sleeeping area is good and the living area is very practical, plenty of windows in the living area which is good. I think you will have no problems fitting everyone in.

We only go camping to see what we have forgotten and what we need to get for next time. If only we could remember where we put the list..................

Hi Im sure you'll love your new tent !! We think ours is the best tent you can get for under £100 !!!

I know what you mean about the size ,the pictures on the websites dont do it justice do they ? nobody would believe how large they are in reality without actually seeing one
