Hi people.
I need to update my tent & have narrowed it down to
Coleman Vermont 4 or 5
against
Vango Venture 500.
Anyone with an opinion which one is the better ??

To do what? weekend trecking?
Personally I would say neither, as the living space is too low in both - I don't want to get out of bed to find I have to be bent over while having mi' breakfast (reminds me too much of prison.... ). Have a look at a Campus Amazon or Hardvard, or a Skydome like mine - where the living space does not drop outside the bedroom.
not syaing they are bad tents - just that I like standing up inside my tents.

The Vango venture is a great lil tent !! We have the 600 and are a family of four + a dog and find its fine for weekends , My hubby is best part of 6ft and can stand up fine in the tent , its a lot bigger than it looks in the pics!!!!
One thing tho ,it does move a bit in very strong winds ,but despite being in 30mph+ winds ours has never even had a split pole ,its amazingly strong!

We have got the vango 500 and we can stand up to eat our breakfast if we want. We found that we had more than enough room for what we wanted.

Go for the Venture. Loads of headroom, and takes minutes to erect.
Are you 7 feet tall, Big Bunny? Or is it your ears that are touching the roof?

Can't add much in the way of debate but we like our VV500 VERY much. OH is 6ft 2 and doesn't have any difficulty with the height in it. ------------- Piglet
