I'm a relative newbie to this forum but thought I'd like to tell you about the excellent service I received from The Outdoor Shop.
I have been camping on and off for years but have, until now, only had small two man backpacking type tents. A few weeks back after a wet trip to Edale I decided it was time to get a family type tent we could stand up in and have space in when it rains. After a lot of research I decided on a Wild Country Homestead 4.
I chatted on the phone to The Outdoor Shop about it. They knew their stuff and were very helpful and the price was one of the best I found. So I placed an order and the tent was delivered to me the very next day. Great service.
Used it for the first time over the weekend and was very pleased with it. Easy to pitch and tons of space! Looks like it will be very stable too. My OH wasn't sure about it from pictures but loved it once it was up. The only down sides I can think of with it are the poor instructions and lack of hanging hooks for lights.

nice to see some good old fashioned service isnt it? and of coarse you will now go back there again AND you have recommended them on here too so others will go there... why oh why is this simple concept not catching on with all retailers (of camping equipment or anything else)???
