Can anybody help me please, we are trying to view a wild country family khamsin tent but cannot find a stockist in the midlands area who has them on display.

Is there anybody out there who has one and would you recommend buying one, we have 2 children and would like to know if you have enough room to sit in it if you had bad weather when away.

Many Thanks

Hi,

We have a WC Family Khamsin and it's a great tent, solid but lightweight. It replaced our WC Quasar. It sleeps 4 fine and there is enough room to sit in the middle if the weather is bad, but not a large area. It uses very high quality alloy poles.

As there are now 5 of us, the Khamsin is a bit small for longer trips and we are now using a WC Homestead 7, which is huge but takes up loads of boot space and weighs a ton in comparison. The Khamsin is now used for overnight/weekend trips as space is not so important then.

If you don't need acres of space then it's a great tent and it will easily stand up to the worst the Scottish west coast weather can throw at it, so it should be fine anywhere else!

Hope this helps and if you have any specific questions, please ask.

Cheers.
