Tempted by the gelert since its bigger, but the vango seems more sturdy due to the guylines. Gelert doesnt seem to have any. Plus ive had a vango before and know that theyre pretty sturdy and very waterproof

Hi Lauren

The choice depends on a number of things

Is it a full sewn in ground sheet, price, etc

both tents are purely for sleeping in with little or no wet weather storage or cooking cover.

If they both meet your needs personally it would be the vango for me and Im a staunch gelert fan.

Have you looked at the Lichfield cherokee 3? I have the 4 as a weekend tent 3 poles easy to put up and a good size living area.
