I have seen the Vario 5 reviewed here. It looks fantastic but being in a camper van we are a little pushed for space ...... so there appears to be a Vario 4 ordinary and a Vario 4 Mini .... but they seem to be the same size on the www.outdoor2go.co.uk web site.

Also there is a cotton version. does anyone have experience of this as we are off across Europe in mid summer .... and heat will be an issue!!!

If you get the Cotton version can you get the tunnel extensions or not ?

We have the Vario 5 Canopy (polyester) and have found that with the variations in windows and doors it is easier to get a throughflow of air than we had in our old frame tent.

Hmmm, just been having a look at these tent on the web and (on paper) they look quite good.

Questions:

Is the groundsheet in the living area sewn-in (SIG) , Zipped-in (ZIG), Toggled raiser or flat??

Can the extension be added for use just as a large porch/patio area or does the movable front panel/wall have to be fastened to the extension?

Cheers

As I said we have the Vario 5 Canopy wich is 6.2m overall length.

The groundsheets provided are 2 separate of different widths none of which are sown-in. Because we tend to stay for long periods (greater that a week at a time) we use one under the inner tents and a breathable for the living area. We have the wall postioned to provide a porch area and have no GS there.

Any other questions jsut ask

Thanks Allan,

Are the groundsheets flat ie pegged down flat or a bucket/riser type which fastens by toggles onto the flysheet?
