Hi. Have managed to track down a bargain Anglesey 5 (2005 tent but brand new) but I have been unable to get a clear view of how the sleeping compartments are arranged (not even Wynnster have been able to help me!)I think that there are in fact two sleeping compartments not just one with a divider. Does anyone out there actually have this tent? If so could you let me know the arrangements and dimensions of the sleeping pod(s)? Thanks

Hi chrisowen, yes there are two separate compartments although the wall separating them is the shared between the 2 rooms. The compartments are completely sealed off from each other and there are no gaps in the material between the pods. (I hope I am making sense)??!!
The Anglesey is a fantastic tent and we love ours - it takes a while to put up but it is very cosy and spacious for longer stays. I haven't seen any other tent which I prefer although of course it's all a matter of personal taste as anyone on here will tell you!

Thanks for the replies. Yes Tim it is the Allweather one that we are looking at (bargain!!!)We have seen the floorplan before but there is no detail of where the divider is.
We are trying to work out if we could put our double airbed in the smaller section and have two singles in the larger one (assuming it's not a 50/50 split).
CamperJan - would you say it is better suited to longer stays than weekend breaks due to the time it takes to put up? Thanks again
Hi Chris , i also have the Anglesey 5, and echo what camper Jans said.Great tent and high Quality for the price.Having used ours all last season, for loads of weekends , I'd say we can be pitched and all set up in under an hour so you'd have to decide if thats too long for you for weekends.
I'm about 95% certain you'd get a double bed in the smaller compartment, but if not the living area is hige and you could use that cos its completly sewn in, no draughts

We also used to have one and echo the above comments - and excellent tent, very well made.
The seporator inbetween the bedrooms is fixed, so it is a 2+3 set up.
However, as also mentioned above, the main dome area has a full SIG and is very comfortable. We (me and the kids) used to sleep in the main dome area, becuase it was more fun. We used the small bedroom for the porta-potti and the other for storage. There is a very useful large porch, which means any muddy things can be kept out of the main dome (and you can cook in it).
Slight downisde, is that with most big SIG domes, it is not that quick to errect. There are some long poles to thread (which is helped if lubed).
But overall, IMHO, an excellent tent.

Sorry to bump this, but we've just been out in our Anglesey for the first time.
The Wynnster website page for the Anglesey says "The large dividable bedroom opens up onto the central living area created by a huge dome." Their image (shown above) shows 5 sleeping bags, and gives the impression of a singe room, and from the description you would think it could be one bedroom or two depending on your choice.

It's 2 bedrooms; a 2 man room on the left (from the front) and a 3 man room on the right. The right bedroom can just fit in 3 Outwell 200x60x5cm camping mats side by side.
Don't get me wrong I think it's a great tent, and for £140 it was a steal. But I think Wynnster could have described it more accurately.
Dividable in my dictionary is "capable of being divided." If you want to remove the divide in an Anglesey you'll need a knife!
