Hi loopylu and welcome to the forum.I'm a novice camper also.I have an aztec tent (hawk 7)and I am pleased with the quality of it.The aztec tents have a good reputation for build quality from what I have read on the web.
I also bought a 4 berth tent called the sunncamp ventura which cost £130.I haven't camped in it yet , just pitched it in the garden. The bedrooms are side by side rather than at opposite ends of the tent like aztec tents you have mentioned. All I can say about it is that it looks nice and is very easy to pitch.
we have a Aztec Viento and used to have another aztec (asilo)a couple of years ago, very good quality 4000hh ours is very easy to put up as it only has three poles. Outdoormegastore have some of them on offer (or did last time i looked) at £99 to £149 i think the viento and sala. Have just looked and a few on ebay as well at the moment.

Have an Aztec Cantera 9 here, the quality of the tent is as good as any of the more well known makes. Ours has stood up to some very severe weather with the help of deltas and would recommend the make to anyone.
