Fort William, Aviemore, Inverness, Loch lomond all Midgie City, it's the burden us Scots have to pay for living in such a scenic country.

Worse i've seen was at Glenmore in Aviemore, big black clouds of midgies, had to hide in my tent from them.

Eughhh!! Horrible! I was at Rothiemurchus campsite by Aviemore at the end of August and didn't see any but they apparently have three midge eaters, whatever they are.
