thats silly jeff ,if they are going to have you they will have you the little blighters i hate them with avengence ,we go fishing in the evening and although we can get all skin so soft, the poor dogs are demented with them ,they love to sit on the bankin waiting for the fish to come!!! if they ever do ,but many nights we have to go back as the dogs are going crazy being continously attacked by midges, anyway ive tried all the concoctions and its just yer donald duck which one works ,you would think in this day and age scientists would have ben able to eradicate midges and mosquitos !!!

Hi all I've read a few threads about avon skin so soft being an effective deterent against midges ,so my question is , is there more than one type because all it did for me was soften up my skin making it easier for the little bu66ers to have a free lunch at my expense , no use as a repellant at all..
Google avon and put mosquito repellant as the Royal Marines used the oil one.I think they changed the colour top. Not certain but you can check on site
