Dont know if anyone may be interested in this - there have been several queries on here previously regarding visiting etc but ferry costs are prohibitive so this may be a solution. Mean while I'll be somewhere camping in shropshire / forest of Dean!!

TT Day Trips Announced

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has announced it will be operating day trips to the Isle of Man from Heysham and Belfast during TT week, beginning Saturday 6th June. The schedule allows for day trips from Heysham for all race days on 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th June and also for the Billown TT Races on Saturday 13 June. Race fans wishing to depart from Northern Ireland are also catered for with trips from Belfast on 6th and 13th June. Tickets start at just £39 for children under 16 and £59 for adults. This price includes ferry travel, on board meal voucher plus coach transfers to/from a vantage point to view the day’s racing. Chief Executive, Mark Woodward said: ‘I am delighted that we are once again able to boost TT attendance figures with these great value day trip offers from Heysham and Belfast.
