Just booked for nehavan caravan and camping for July read the reviews and it sounds like a good site , very reasonably priced. cant wait. planning days out to Alton towers and Chatsworth house. I also want to visit Buxton and Bakewell. any info on the site or the area would be greatly appreciated as never visited before.
Bakewell is quite touristy, but nice to visit for a walk round in the sunshine and a meal. Parking might be difficult. Look out for the 'Bakewell pudding' shops, see if you like it!
Buxton is different again, Georgian architecture, nice shops, big park and river behind the Pavilion.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
