Anybody been fishing the river tay this year what were the catches on salmon,heard there was a big run also what lures did the business..

I gave up fly fishing years ago so I am out of touch with the prices, and of course we locals don't pay the same price as visitors.

We have just come back from CC site Maragowan at Killin, you can fish in the river next to the site, free.

nope never knew you could fish for salmon free trout grayling yes if private land, but water may be still under the fisheries or the crown.

By the way the river clyde is doing well with high catches of fish no need to spend top dollar on these rich mans rivers..
