The Lumiere Festival is taking place from the 17th to the 20th November in Durham City. This was last held a couple of years ago & was brilliant (& free!) Lots to see & do after the sun goes down. Well worth a visit.

There is a great site for Durham beside the A1; Grange Caravan Site, Durham. The best bit is the Park and Ride is really close to the site, 5 mins walk. It is a site managed by the caravan club for Durham County Council I believe. Facilities are good too.
now it has been and gone. Wonderful event, but logistics were poor and lots of people were angry at the organisation. Spoilt the night for us even though the displays had lots to offer. Interesting foing to the lectures about the displays too. Gave a lot of insight into the event and what the displays were all about. Lovely city (but don;t tell the southerners, they'll only come and spoil it)
A day of all things motorhome and campervan. The show is held both in the main indoor arena and across the grounds. Catering, hot drinks and food options are available. Easy access to the site and free parking included. Win one of five pairs of day tickets
