Travelling from Staffs to Dumfies, could anyone suggest a nice place for a pit stop ? Need somewhere for a hot drink and a place for the kids to burn off some energy.
I second Westmorland. They do really nice burgers as well. The stand is outside the main building. That's the place I stop off.

if you find anything interesting up their to go see (once in dumfires) let me know as we head up on 7th sept ending up in dumfries on the 10th for week at soloway. so still looking for things to do
