I'm going to go caraving half term either Dalby Forest or Peak district and wondered what peoples views were on outdoor activties for kids aged 7 & 9.  and which area would be best - any advice would be great

Dalby forest is great for kids. They might be a bit young for the go ape thing there but I think they have a junior go ape bit. They also do a special halloween thing for kids in the October half term.
The bridestones are worth a walk to, funny shaped rocks, look like they came from another planet. There's another big rock, I can't remember what it's called but it's just next to the road as you drive through, but my kids love climbing on it.
The play area is good there and it's good for cycling.

Geocaching?
My kids GED 6,5 and 3 love it, so did the teenager we used to foster, I think it appeals to all ages.
