I wonder if you could suggest places we can go to to entertain our kids, we are camping in The Woods Caravan Park near Alloa in Scotland and wondering any beach or loch nearby for the kids to enjoy themselves and for adults to have bbq.
No beach as you’re in the centre of Scotland. You’re about 1.5 hours from Ayrshire beaches, about the same from Portobello beach (east end of Edinburgh). Stirling Castle (have to book tickets due to Covid, can’t park a MH there at the moment; Historic Scotland or use English Heritage cards). The Kelpies at Falkirk (east side). The Falkirk Wheel (west side). Loch Lomond, quieter east side. Take the boat on Loch Katrine. If you’re desperate, factory outlets at Tillicoultry. Bannockburn near Stirling (National Trust for Scotland). Blair Drummond Safari Park west of Stirling. Crieff Hydro has adventure things, basket golf, horse riding etc : loads for children to do, you don’t need to be staying there. Head up as far as Kingussie for Kincraig because they have polar bears there, and more besides, but it’s a long drive. If you get that far, go to the far end of Loch Morlich at Aviemore where there’s a beach and boats to hire. And a campsite, as it happens...

I would suggest Inverkeithing which is probably less than 30 minutes from you. I seem to remember it having a lovely sandy beach which be good for kids.

Good typo! It’s Loch Katrine not Latrine.... And I did suggest the Safari Park but the OP hasn’t responded to any of us.
Good site at Blair Drummond, you can get tickets there for the Safari Park & go as often as you want.
