Following customer feedback Pegasus has been re-positioned within the portfolio and as a result the recommended retail prices for the new models have been reduced by approximately £1,000 to create a greater differential between them and those in the existing Unicorn range.
These reductions have been achieved through the removal of some items of equipment and the efficiency savings generated by a manufacturing plant now geared up for 100% Alu-Tech production.
That said, specification levels remain high for a caravan in this sector of the market and compare favourably when judged against comparably specified competitor products. This combined with the high-performance Alu-Tech body shell, new-look interiors and accessible unladen caravan weights makes the second generation Pegasus range a very attractive mid-market package for the year ahead.
The range will be officially launched at the Boat and Caravan Show in Birmingham on Tuesday 22nd February (Stands 5120 & 5130 - Hall 5).

In response to positive customer feedback Bailey will be adding a further model to their best-selling Pegasus range for the 2012 season to expand the choice of layouts available.
The new Pegasus Rimini is a single axle 4-berth layout which features twin single fixed beds. Using a clever twist on an established design Bailey has re-located the wardrobe into a spacious ensuite end-washroom which also includes a lined shower cubicle, a belfast-style hand basin and a thetford cassette toilet. This in turn frees up space in the centre of the vehicle to create the open plan feel which has proved very popular with owners of other fixed bed models. A well-equipped centre kitchen and a parallel bed front lounge, with a u-shaped seating configuration, complete a layout which can accommodate up to four people in complete comfort.
As with all Pegasus models the Rimini is constructed using the technically advanced Alu-Tech body shell which is insulated to Grade III classification of EN1645-I, allowing you to holiday all year round, and is supplied with a market-leading 10-Year fully comprehensive and fully transferable body shell integrity guarantee to provide you with long term peace of mind.
Built also with practicality in mind models include the AL-KO ATC Trailer Control System as standard which, combined with the AL-KO AKS 3004 stabiliser and AL-KO shock absorbers, will ensure that your new investment remains safe on the road, while an AL-KO Secure wheel lock will provide additional protection to your caravan whilst on site.
