Hello ,I have a piece of Conti board stuck to the bedroom wall that used to have a sticker on it stating fix Tv here . We are now gonna get a tv and put it on the wall , the Conti board is only 15mm deep , I reckon the wall is approx 30mm , what’s the best fixing to use to fix my Tv bracket ?
A lot f plasterboard fixings only go to 15 mm and I have 15mm board plus the 3mm hardboard…any ideas … thanks

Just an update if anyone thinking of doing this . There is a power socket for the tv just below where I was going to fix it , I pulled this off to see if there was any extra wood in the wall but I noticed the wires ran up the wall right where I wanted to put my screws so there wasn’t another piece of wood behind my Conti board. I got a horizontal tv bracket so I could spread the weight across the board . I put 10 of 1 inch x 5mm screws in it , drilling a 2mm pilot hole for each but being very careful about the depth of hole I drilled and screwing the end of the screw in slow so if I did touch the cable it would push out of the way rather than do damage. The Conti board was 15mm plus 3mm hardboard plus a washer and thickness of bracket. From the face of the Conti board thru wall to the back of the ply on the other side of the wall was 52mm , I measured this by drilling a 2mm pilot hole and pushed a paper clip thru till it stopped.
It’s been up about 2 hours now …hopefully I won’t need to update this
