Hi does anybody know the legal requirements of a static caravan/mobile home (non residential) park owner with regards to rises in electricity prices? Our prices have just gone up from 7.4 to 9.4 per unit with no explanation.

As I understand it: sites can only pass on electrical supply charges, it is illegal to add any profit margin. The cost of providing electrical infrastructure must be recovered through the annual site fees.

Considering the recent rises in all kinds of fuel and energy, the the price you are now paying should reflect the charges that site is now paying to its supplier.
