So (like many others) we have been told we cannot sell our static on site and it has to go off-site. This means we could get a pittance for our lovely van. Really hate to see it go to a dealer's yard to be shipped off to Poland or somewhere.

We are moving back abroad but will be making trips back to the UK. One (slightly hair brain scheme) would be to transport the static to a site in northern France, not too far from Calais, so we could use it as a base there. I realise the transport costs would be fairly high but at least we could keep for many years then and us and friends and family could get some use out of it.

Does anyone have any ideas of French sites that allow bring ons?

Camping Le Ragis, BUT its on the Vendee and not many plots left !!! We've just taken one of the remaining plots as we have changed and sold our previous van on the same site!
