We have had a static caravan for quite a few years now, and although I really love where we are at the minute (10 minutes away from Elan Valley) the rest of the family get bored as there is not a great deal for them to do. Quiet site no facilities beyond a river.
Ideally we would like to be nearer the coast, but unsure of costs, I have spent some time looking at sites, but why do very few if any let you know rents? We are aware that we would have to purchase another caravan, unlikely our van would stand up to a move (1997) although it is in very good condition, and we would be looking at an older caravan, newer than our current one though!
If we were to say look at Tywyn/Aberdovey, do you know roughly what rental costs would be? I know that nearer coast costs go up, but by how much? we currently pay £1400 per year plus gas & electricity (piped gas)
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
