Advised to turn power off each time we leave (mostly weekend users) but do any of you leave your electricity on? Would be so much more convenient to leave supplies in the fridge rather than having to shop each time cutting into our precious hours away!!

We leave ours on, why not? Like you say, and we do leave food in fridge & freezer. I know there is always the risk of a power cut but that could happen at home while you are away. Our site does put a notice up in the office if they know of any planned power cuts. We only use ours for long weekends, but we class it as our second home and use it as we would our bricks and mortar home. Obviously we dont leave any heaters on but the fridge yes.

I leave mine on all season and only switch of when winterising it

Always leave ours on except for over the closed season (Jan +Feb) I always switch off the water at the stop tap and turn the gas off at the cylinder when we leave

Thank you for taking the trouble to reply. We will certainly be leaving ours on this year (quite new to all this) but as you say amara 520 we'll continue to turn off the water and gas bottle.

if youre concerned, just put the freezer on a separate circuit? we have ours in a 'posh shed' outside and always leave it on - IN FRANCE !!!
