Can anyone please recommend some sites with nearby regional or micro breweries, or quality cask & craft ale pubs. We have three dogs and prefer to avoid child friendly sites.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Devizes C&CC - easy access to Devizes along the canal (about 6 miles on foot) or bus (not sure if 3 dogs would be allowed on a bus though) for the Pour House, British Lion, the White Bear and the Southgate; also easy access to Melksham for Milktown Brewery and their tap room, Stealth Brew Co's tap room, and the Hiding Place; and also the pubs in Bath.

A 15-20 minute walk to the centre of town - home to Theakstons and Black Sheep breweries, both with their own bars and the town also has plenty of pubs. They also have a town beer festival once a year.
Whitby has a brewery near the Abbey, campsite next to it.
Yorkshire Dales Brewery near Askrigg. Lots of sites in the Dales and not far from there the Richmond Brewing Company based in Richmond railway station - both owned by same family.
Lakes Brew Company, Kendal
Scotland also has dozens of small breweries in areas with campsites.

Sure, but I’m struggling to think of many (any?) with associated pubs, or with campsites “nearby”. I’d stick to the suggestions given so far.
Traquair, for example: interesting castle & grounds to visit, but you buy the beer from the castle shop & the nearest site is a drive away in Peebles. Isle of Arran brewery doesn’t have a pub & again, no sites nearby (say, in walking distance with the dogs). Or Loch Fyne brewery, but you buy from the brewery shop & the Inveraray site isn’t near.
Supermarkets stock dozens of craft beers, so we just take our pub with us.
Off the top of my head, I can only think of Belhaven (and I’m not sure I’d class that as a craft beer) and Sullwath at Castle Douglas, but the nearby sites both have children’s playgrounds so they’re not suitable.
The suggestions already given sound good.
The Black Bull Inn in Coniston (Cumbria) has The Coniston Brewing Co right behind it and sells it's ales, including off sales. CAMC Coniston Park Coppice campsite is under 1.5 miles away and walkable on footpaths. I know both well. There are other campsites in the immediate area, but I've never used any of them so can't really comment on them.
CAMC Victoria Farm Certified Location, Claybrooke Magna, Leicestershire is within walking distance (about 1.25 miles) of the Pig In Muck pub either across country on footpaths, or down the lane (don't recommend as few/no places you are off the carriageway itself). It 'used' to have it's own Micro-brewery with some very nice ales, BUT, I no longer see any mention on their current web site so best check with them if still brewing!
TBH, we stopped using the campsite as it got a little run down, but that was probably 7 years or so back, it may well have improved in the meantime.
Petruth Paddocks in Cheddar is a lovely campsite. And just a 5 minute walk to the Cheddar Ales brewery which has a very pleasant taproom. Bottled Cheddar Ales are also sold in the campsite shop.
I hope these posts help someone, because as sure as eggs is eggs, the OP is never coming back.
I drove past Fyne Ales this week, they’re still doing ok. There’s a taproom / shop, but the beer is available in our Morrisons which is a reliable source of income.
A day of all things motorhome and campervan. The show is held both in the main indoor arena and across the grounds. Catering, hot drinks and food options are available. Easy access to the site and free parking included. Win one of five pairs of day tickets
