Ive just joined this forum because I was looking for year round camping in Lincoln. I'll ve returning for my Master's at the University, and I was looking for affordable alternatives to campus housing, where I could dosconnect from the distractions of the city and get in touch with Nature. I'm hoping to find some place within a 40min cycle to Lincoln, but the closest places aren't year round, or don't offer tent pitches. Does anyone have any recommendations? I will have a car and I want to be maybe 5 miles from city centre, and ideally I'd like to cycle to town, eather than drive. Any suggestions are very welcome.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Welcome to UKCS.
According to the site directory on here, there are 3 sites within 5 miles of Lincoln that are open all year, take tents & have toilets. I didn’t check for internet.
Two are Certificated Sites CSs which means you’d have to join the Caravan & Camping Club CCC to stay at those. The directory has details eg satellite map, phone numbers & reviews.
Hopefully someone will advise how to find the Site Search, as you’ve just joined.
Good luck.
