As I have just bought a new tent today, I am in the camping mood. I can't pitch it until tomorrow as it has been raining all day... so.... I'm starting to look at site for next year. I want to go to Cornwall, or maybe Devon and have just been reading reviews on Wooda Farm. It looks like a nice site, but there are conflicting pov.
Some people say there is nothing to do on site, others say there is plenty to do. I am hoping to find somewhere to do a 2wk stay. 2 adults, 2 teenagers. Not wanting little play areas really, but if there is anything for teens to do it would be handy.
Has anyone been to Wooda Farm? Can you confirm if there is much to do on site or not.
If anyone has any recommendations for Cornwall, near beaches, not overly noisy sites if possible. I know I'm asking a lot - summer holidays, near a beach and quiet haha.
Thanks in advance.
------------- Finally camping under CANVAS.
Don't forget to leave a review of the campsites you have visited this year or last!
Have a look at Trevornick at holywell bay. We love it there return every year for 10 days. 10 min walk to the beach where Poldark was filmed.loads and loads to on site and only a 15 minutes drive into Newquay.its self.

Thank you. I will take a look. I am definitely after somewhere as a base for a good 10-14 days.
Most families who come to Cornwall are looking for beaches, surfing, off road cycle trails, and visits to places of interest rather than things to do on a campsite. Wooda Farm has things to do on site if that’s what is important to you but its busy and crowded in school summer holidays and it’s inland location is not very good. - walking into Bude is not the best idea. Wooda wouldn’t be my family choice - they would be out and about every day - but it’s up to you not me.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
