Hi, I've paid to be a member of the camping club but if friends were to join me in my tent do they all have to be members also?
Kind regards,
Hayley

Welcome.

The answer is in the CCC T and Cs:
"2.5 - On a member only site up to four non-members (adults and/or children) may be included in a members' party provided the non-members camp in the member's unit, with the member present.

2.6 - Sub-letting of units is not permitted.

2.8 - When making a booking for a touring pitch you agree that you are aged 18 years or over and have the authority of all persons within your party. Members of The Camping and Caravanning Club Youth Section can camp unaccompanied if they have passed the Youth Camping Test and are fourteen years or older. Bookings are not transferrable to another party. Bookings are not accepted for party events, stag or hen party groups or similar."

I think CS's make their own rules to some extent. We've CERTAINLY held rallies on CS sites that do not conform to normal CCC rules (I'm not even a CCC member and been head organiser, but one or two of our crowd were!), but that could just be CS bending/breaking rules for their/our benefit! If it's all working in your favour, you don't ask too many questions about who's breaking the rules!

i think i didnt make myself very clear? does rule 2.5 apply to rallies? as in we can have upto 4 non members sleeping in our caravan with us both being a member so making 6 of us in total, the reason i ask is because last year we attended a holiday rally where our adult daughter and her kids came to stay, they charged her a temporary member rate of £3.50 a night while the kids went free
