We're thinking of booking 3 or 4 nights at Pembrey CAMC in June but have noticed it says maybe some noise from building works.
Anyone stayed there lately and if so any disruption?
Cheers,
Kernow Camper

Not been there for a number of years and would rather than stay home rather than go again. Worst club site I`ve visited.
When we went there wasn`t a great choce of pitches, but the five good ones which were vacant were `out of use`, until the wardens mates turned up a few hours later so they could party together.
We did find a suitable pitch although football seemed to take place there rather than on the hundreds of acres a few yards away.....
To cap it off, on the Friday evening we had a knock at the door from a newly arrived caravanner informing me I would have to move as I had been pitched for the last five days on "his" pitch as he always stopped there. The conversation was a very short one.
Nice surroundings and beach, but little else to recommend it and mostly horrible `regulars`.

Love it, absolutely love it.

Stayed there for a couple of weeks a few years pre covid. Site itself OK, but watch out for the early arrivers, despite CAMC rules. There would be a queue of early arrivers from 10:30 or before waiting to get onto the site. In some cases you will see Mrs Early Arriver walk through the barriers with her deck chair to walk round the site looking for either empty pitches or someone about to leave so they can plonk themselves down and bag a pitch before Mr Early Arriver turns up with the unit shortly later.
Overall, nice enough site, but no rules applied and a regular clique who seem to do what they want.

A few years pre Covid is about 5-6 years ago? A lot can change on a site in that time, eg CAMC managers move on.
